Summer Camps are for children 9-14 years of age and will happen during select weeks in June and July, Monday-Friday, 9am-3pm.
Our Summer Camps cover all the main circus disciplines. We’ll improve strength and flexibility with acrobatics on the floor and in the air, including trapeze and aerial silks. We’ll practice equilibristics, the art of balancing yourself, on rola-bolas, on globes, on the tight wire, and on stilts. We’ll learn juggling and object manipulation using scarves, balls, rings, and spinning plates. Studies show that cross-lateral movements, in which you cross the mid-line of your body, are said to help synch your brain hemispheres, building “grey matter”. We’ll have fun with clowning and physical comedy, using theatrical play to feed the imagination and keep us laughing! Circus has so many benefits beyond just the physical. Through it, we learn trust and perseverance, gain self-confidence and focus, and improve communication skills. No previous circus experience is necessary. Join us!
This Summer, we are excited to announce that we’ve expanded our programming days to 9am-3pm, and added two 2 -week camp sessions. We are also thrilled to announce that through a partnership with Southern Rep Theatre, our end-of-camp session shows will take place in their new, beautiful theatre on Bayou Road!
If your child is between 6 and 8 years old, they may join our ongoing Saturday morning classes. If your 9-14 year old needs just a weekly class, they can sign up for Monday Night Kids Aerial. Thanks, and see you at Camp!

Are YOU ready to join the CIRCUS?
Yes, your child can run away with the CIRCUS ….. and still come home for dinner!
Acrobatics on the floor and in the air, trapeze, hammock, silks, Spanish web, lyra, the sky is the limit – well – of course we need to cover the basics, and most of all safety first and foremost! Acrobatics is ALL core strength and taking to the air will develop that upper body strength too!
Equilibristics, the art and craft of balancing yourself, on rola-bolas, on globes, on stilts (from bucket stilts to high stilts), on unicycles and on the tight wire. Discover the beautiful feelings of being and moving in balance!
Juggling and Prop manipulation, scarves, balls, rings, flower sticks, Chinese yo-yos, spinning plates, swinging poi, so much FUN and the BEST cross brain training! Cross-lateral activities, in which you cross the mid-line of your body, are said to help synching your brain hemispheres, juggling builds “grey matter” – and focus for sure!
Clowning and physical comedy, while we hone our acrobatic skills, our balancing and prop skills, we might discover a clown that has to be set free – so we might just do that!
All our instructors are highly qualified and experienced in working with children. We break complex movements into learning steps that are challenging yet allow for the experience of success.
